Government Degree College (GDC) Marheen organised a Mega Registration Drive and KYC Verification of students on the PM-NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) Portal, aimed at facilitating students in accessing apprenticeship opportunities and enhancing their employability through practical training. The programme was organised under the guidance and leadership of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, who encouraged the students to actively participate in the initiative and make effective use of government-supported apprenticeship opportunities.Students from the 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters participated in the drive with great enthusiasm. The students were guided through the registration and KYC verification process on the PM-NAPS portal, while also being sensitised to the importance of apprenticeship programmes in gaining practical exposure, developing industry-relevant skills and preparing for future career opportunities. The event was facilitated by Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof. Anoop Sharma, Dr. Munisha Devi, Dr. Shallu Rani and Prof. Manu Saini, who extended their guidance and support to the participating students throughout the registration and verification process. The Mega Registration Drive concluded successfully with enthusiastic student participation and the coordinated efforts of the faculty members, reflecting the college's commitment towards providing students with meaningful opportunities for skill development, apprenticeship and career advancement.
