NSS volunteers of Government Degree College, Marheen participated in Quiz-Competition

NSS volunteers of Government Degree College (GDC) Marheen actively participated in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue Quiz Competition 2027, aimed at encouraging young minds to engage with the vision of a developed and progressive India. The quiz provided an engaging platform for students to enhance their knowledge about India’s rich heritage, achievements, developmental journey, contemporary challenges, and the vision of Viksit Bharat. The enthusiastic participation of the NSS volunteers reflected their commitment towards nation-building and their active involvement in initiatives that promote responsible and informed youth. The programme was conducted under the ablest guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta, esteemed Principal who encouraged the students to actively participate in such initiatives and contribute meaningfully towards the vision of a developed India. The participation of NSS volunteers in the quiz was appreciated as an important step towards fostering leadership qualities, awareness, civic responsibility and a spirit of active citizenship among the students. The programme was supervised by Dr. Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, Dr. Balbinder Singh,Dr Shallu Rani,Prof.Manu Saini, and Yuva Bharat Officials,Kathua. The initiative also provided the volunteers with an opportunity to express their knowledge and perspectives on India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation. The college administration appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the NSS volunteers and encouraged them to continue taking part in similar programmes aimed at strengthening their knowledge, leadership skills and commitment to nation-building. The programme was graced by several faculty members: Dr. Munisha Devi, Prof. Manu Saini, Prof. Diksha and Dr. Reemi, among others.
