NSS unit of GDC, Marheen celebrated NSS Day on 24-09-2025. The function was commenced with formal welcomed the Chief- Guest Prof ( Dr) Aunpama Gupta,esteemed Principal of the college. Dr Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, presented Planter to the chief –Guest as token of love. Miss Neha Chib Sr. NSS Volunteer briefed the NSS Volunteers and guests about the Importance of NSS Day. The NSS Volunteers presented various cultural items with great zeal and enthuse. The NSS volunteers who attended national camps and got positions in other competitions were felicitated by college administration among them: Miss.Neha Chib who got third position at district level debate competition in Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament contest held at GDC, Udhampur, Miss Sonali Thapa who attended five days training Programme held at Rajiv Gandhi Training Institute at Chandigarh and Mr Dharamveer who also attended five days training Programme held at Rajiv Gandhi Training Institute at Chandigarh. The Chief-Guest congratulated the volunteers and appreciated the efforts of NSS unit for organizing such wonderful programme. The event was managed by Dr Arun Dev Singh, NSS Programme Officer, Dr Balbinder Singh, Dr Shallu Rani under the benign patronage of Prof (Dr) Aunpama Gupta,esteemed Principal of the college. The other faculty members who graced the occasion: Prof Anoop Sharma,Dr Munisha Devi, Prof Manu Saini, Dr Reemi Verma,Dr Sneh , Dr Priti Khajuria and others.
