On September 19, 2025, the fourth day of the ongoing Five-Day Civil Defense Training Programme featured an in-depth lecture delivered by experts from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and Civil Defense. The session focused on First Aid techniques, with particular emphasis on the management of snake bites. The experts also provided insights into various snake species and their potential impact on human life, especially in the context of disaster scenarios. Following the theoretical component, a live practical demonstration was conducted, aimed at equipping students with crucial life-saving skills. This hands-on experience was designed to empower participants to respond effectively in emergency situations, thereby enhancing community resilience. The session was highly praised by the Principal, Dr. Anupama Gupta, who commended the expertise of the visiting resource persons and encouraged students to actively engage with and apply these vital techniques during crises. The day's proceedings concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Balbinder Singh, Physical Director, who expressed appreciation for both the contributions of the expert trainers and the enthusiastic involvement of the students. The event was further enriched by the presence of several esteemed faculty members, including Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh, Dr. Munisha Devi, Dr. Shallu Rani, Prof. Manu Saini, Dr. Rimmi Verma, and Dr. Preeti Khajuria.
