Department of Hindi and Department of Dogri of GDC Marheen celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor in the college. The programme was organized under the patronage of Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Anupama Gupta. She emphasized the importance of Hindi language and motivated the students to promote it in their areas. She also highlighted that Hindi connects us to our roots and allow us to express our thoughts, emotions and aspirations with millions. The celebration featured with symposium in the college. The winners of the competition viz Neha bagged 1st position, Kanika taken 2nd position and Monika bagged 3rd position. The programme was judged by Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Arun Dev Singh and Dr. Balbinder Singh. Dr. Shallu Rani (HOD Dogri) and Dr. Preeti Khajuria (HOD, Hindi) supervised the whole programme. Dr. Munisha Devi and Manu Saini also joined and managed the programme.
