Regarding the slogan writing competition under the theme “Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations 2025”.

 

As per the direction from Higher Education Department, under the celebration of Gandhi Jayanti 2025, Today, on Tuesday 16th of September 2025. A slogan writing contest was organised by Govt. Degree College, Marheen, in which a total of fifteen students from all the semesters participate and presented their talent through writing the slogans related to “the theme, “Voice of Truth.” These slogans were adjudged by Prof. Sandeep Chaudhary, Dr. Balbinder Singh and Dr. Arun Dev Singh and as per their judgement Ms Deekasha baghel bagged first position where as Ms Bharti and Ms Shreya bagged 2nd and third positions respectively. Speaking on the occasion ,Principal of GDC, Marheen, Dr. Anupama Gupta glorified the contribution of the Father of the Nation, commonly called as Bapu. The whole contest was organised under the supervision of Dr. Shallu Rani head Deptt. of Dogri and Dr. Rimmi Verma. The other dignities who were present includes Dr. Sneh and other faculty members and non- Teaching Staff of the college.
